Full installation
We measure, order, and install.
For homeowners who want the project handled. We confirm dimensions, provide a written quote before anything is ordered, and install the right system in one coordinated visit.
How installation works
Email or estimate
Send photos and rough dimensions, or use the estimate tool for a price range before we book anything.
Written quote
We confirm the right system and a written quote. No surprises. No deposit until you approve.
Paid in-home measure (if needed)
For non-standard openings or multi-room projects, we confirm exact fit before placing the order.
Order and install
Doors are ordered and installed in one coordinated visit. We handle disposal of old hardware.
Common installation projects
Bedroom closet replacement
Replacing old bifold or accordion doors with bypass or barn door systems. The most common residential install.
New construction finishes
Installing closet door systems in newly framed homes before final painting and trim.
Rental unit upgrades
Upgrading multiple units with consistent systems — coordinating supply and installation across a building.
Walk-in closet entries
Installing pivot or bypass systems for walk-in closet entries where the opening is larger than standard.
Mirror panel upgrades
Replacing standard panels with mirror bypass or mirror bifold in principal bedrooms.
Room divider installation
Installing sliding barn-style room dividers in studio apartments and open-plan spaces.
Written quote before order. Always.
We do not place orders until you have approved a written quote. Final pricing depends on exact dimensions, door type, finish, hardware, and installation scope. The quote makes all of that clear before anything is committed.
Installation questions
What is included in the installation service?
Removal of old hardware (if applicable), fitting and installation of the new door system, and a final check that everything slides or pivots correctly. Hardware disposal is included.
Do I need a paid measure before installation?
For standard openings with clear dimensions, a written quote based on your photos and measurements is often enough. For non-standard openings, rough openings without finished trim, or multi-room projects, a paid in-home measure confirms exact fit before we order.
How long does installation take?
A single bypass or bifold install typically takes 1–2 hours. Barn door hardware and larger projects take longer. We confirm timing at the quote stage.
Do you install in condos and apartments?
Yes. We work in all residential property types across Ottawa and the NCR. Condo building access requirements may affect scheduling.
What areas do you install in?
Ottawa, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean, Orleans, Gloucester, Stittsville, Manotick, and surrounding NCR communities. Contact us for Gatineau availability.
Ready to price your closet opening?
Start with a rough estimate, then send photos and dimensions when you want a written quote.
